Correct, he actually weakens himself, his whole bio-chemistry is ****ed, metabalism is shot 2 bits, the way he's going he'll be type 2 diabetic any day soon if not border line now, he's physically finished as a fighter but his biz commitments i.e brand hatton mean he's commited 2 going out on a public high, he's trapped:dead
**** me like I thought he was gonna start crying or something. :roflCheers for that. Oh and funny to seevMcguigan was havin a wee laugh at old hammered hattom
thats hatton for you it doesnt suprise me, you can tell he was in the shitter after the pac fight.....looks like a depressed man to me, but can you blame him? I dont believe he was in the gym..... Actually hatton's metabloism should be comended.....most people cant take 40 pound off in 3 months, like he can.....thats a gift.....but overtime yo-yoing will catchup to him... i think its weakened him at 140 now......
I feel sorry for Ricky, wears his heart on his sleeve and I think it kills him that he was never quite the best and will never be remembered as such, only a great boxer with a massive following. I think this is why he doesn't want to quit but he must see that he will never again get the chance to prove that he is the best and rightly so because he wasn't. Fight Khan for him, us (those that want to see it) and British boxing then retire Ricky.
Yes but he's what 30ish now? Much harder to do that in your 30s than your 20s. What I'm worried about with Hatton is what he's going to do when he doesn't have another fight, when he doesn't have that motivation to keep him training. His metabolism is quite clearly ****ed and I can see a problem for the guy when his career ends. It's all well and good saying he should go and enjoy his life but that's the same mentality that left Gazza like he is and killed George Best.
I'm worried about hatton when he is fully done, i dont think he is done, by that interview, i think people around him are urging him to quit when he sarcastically said i go back forth week to week..... hatton will be huge after he is done....that is not good for anybody, whether your a fighter or not....have you seen gatti lately?....gatti is like hatton but more hardcore, always boozing it up but seemed to get into the strip club and hooker scene.....his lifestyle is like hatton but in overdrive since he has retired...
Wasn't Gatti arrested a couple of months ago for knocking his wife about? I'm pretty sure they found cocaine on him when he was arrested as well.
It's quite clear to me that stepping back into the ring would be a huge mistake. I said after the Pacquiao fight that he should 100% retire before he gets badly or permanently hurt. I hope his family and friends do the right thing and do everything possible to make sure he stays retired.
Just read that Rickys doing a guest appearance at a nightclub near me on Friday. 2 drinks for the price of one. Looks like his session will be ongoing.
