I don't have an inferiority complex (and certainly not where you're concerned!!) but when you seem intent on arguing with me in that arrogant "I have insider knowledge of boxing posters" manner over what is really a very small issue (and that, whatever you may think, does happen), I think I'm entitled to have pop back. This is one of the reasons why boxing is not the sport it used to be..why it's popularity has declined to the point where circus side show amateur gay **** like UFC and MMA and like junk has superceded it with so many "fans". Boxing would be so much better off if the fights and the fighters were more accessible to the general public..and if there was more free tv fights like back in the 70's. Restoring the 15 round title fight limit is something that I always have to add to my list of grievances..one of the most important points. The hoarding of all those fight films, for whatever "lawyerly" reasons has only stifled boxing as a sport and has cheated every fight fan who has a right to see them.

Yeh i agree with you mate, we've imported the PPv franchise this side of the pond now & it's all we've got in the way of access 2 boxing, we've got no terrestial TV companies showing any world title fights or delayed highlights, boxing has just evaporated from public view. It's so anonymous now in the UK that very few people if any on could name any of our present National Champions:verysad such is the lack of exposure & the PC brigade don't help. It is morally wrong 2 hoard all this fights from public view but as you know there ai'nt no morals in the Boxing Bizness world. UFC/MMA is all the rage here as well with the 18/25 generation, all about marketing ai'nt it.
