What do you base such a statement on ? He showed an iron chin and exceptional stamina against Tua. He showed patience and discipline in stopping a prime Byrd in a manner neither Klitschko could do ... He was a physical adonis with exceptional size and strength and pretty good boxing skills ...

I agree there was still a lot to prove and we will not know for sure since he blew it but to say he was highly over rated is a bit off ... what weaknesses do you see ?

    Jeffries by UD.

Ike is often rated too high H2H becuase of his undeserved decision over Tua in their exciting war.

I wonder how Ike would have done against Tom Sharkey, with whom Jeffries struggled mightily.

How unproven is Ike, really? Destroyed a prime and undefeated Byrd and outfought, went toe to toe with a prime and undefeated Tua and defeated him

Jeffries? We read in a newspaper he beat up some cigar smokers half his size and we have a little bit of film of him awkwardly hopping around then hugging people

You say it. Against Tua. The other half of the most overrated hw-duo of all time. And he landed a lucky punch against Byrd after getting shown up.

Oh, and because he had some size and looked "like an adonis" he suddenly is somebody who can hang in with atgs.

Ibeabuchi and Tua both proved they are contenders in their time. That does not get them ranked all-time. That does not mean they would beat atgs. Neither ever proved he could.

F*ck me. I´m not to argue thios sh*t again. It´s like talking to a wall.

What's not over rated about Tua is his power. It was proven beyond question. When he fought Ike he was in his physical prime and was highly motivated. He threw and landed his best shots and Ike took it. All my point regarding Ike and Tua was that Ike proved he could take monster shots from a killer puncher over ten rounds. I stand by that statement.

As far as Ike v.s. Byrd, calling it a lucky shot is crap. Ike remained calm , timed his shot and did what neither Klitschko brother was able to do and that was destroy Byrd.
