You cannot make the rules. Margarito beat Cotto. I wish he wouldn't have ,but if we the fans make the rules then we can just bend any win and use excuses.

3 Points:

Lampley is a Cotto nuthugger plain and simple.

Anyone who doesn't think the win (and for that matter a lot of his previous wins) are clouded in suspicion are deluded. 100% deluded. The guy tried to LOAD HIS GLOVES against a 4-1 underdog after the biggest win of his career.

Even if Margarito had loaded gloves for that fight it still doesn't excuse Miguel's gameplan. No clinching or body work = fail.

 

Opinions are like asses. Everybody has one. Is it possible Margarito cheated against Cotto??? Yes!! But there is not evidence. So no even Cotto is questioning that. Why Lampley is saying this????? Same thing they do with other fighters. It's call promoting a fight. He gets pay to do that. Cotto could have won that fight even if Margarito had blocks inside his gloves. But he had the wrong fight plan. Mosley showed how easy is to hit Margarito and not getting hit by him. He did everything Cotto was supposed to do. Again, COTTO WORST ENEMY IS HIS OWN GROUP!!!! And this is the reason I am not sure about him against Clottey. But I still a fan and I hope he wins. I want another big celebration in Caguas.

 

Yes I have and Cotto didn't even get hit until the second round probably. The absence of his trademark left to the body was a flaw in his plan from the start. Also if you actually read my post you will see I am backing Cotto up. However, Cotto's sack in your mouth must have been cutting off the oxygen supply to your brain.
