Jim Rome is just an idiot. Wasn't this his gimmick for becoming famous? Try and **** people off to make a name for yourself?
You know what, Jim Rome is right! Fedors loss to Silva proves that he was never any good and would have never made it in the UFC. Jim Rome is probably the only one with the balls to admitt that Fedor was simply afraid to compete with the best... the fighters in the ufc. Its refreshing to see someone prove their knowledge of MMA in one single rant and not worry about what anybody else (MMA fans) have to say. Anyone can get their face smashed in, their is nothing great about that.
I also want to add (and I cant believe Rome forgot to mention this) Fedor can not compete with the new breed of MMA fighter.
Ohh and remember so called MMA fans, that Randy couture was older than Fedor when he STARTED fighting in MMA. So dont even try to mention age, tell me when fedor turns 46, remember goerge forman was 45 when he won the heavyweight championship! Age is not a factor!
well the way I see it is: Fedor got beat first by a ufc reject in Werdum. Fedor then gets beat by the guy (Silva) who was beat by a ufc reject. So basically its the UFC>Werdum>Silva>Fedor. Fedor would have never made it in the ufc, he is three skill levels below them! And the new breed of MMA fighter is too much for him.
