I like Woodhall from a technical aspect but he could be better on his knowledge of whats going on in the sport. There was an undercard fight on Setanta a while back where it was clear that he'd never even heard of Emmanual Augustus.

I didn't think Watt was that bad last night.

He was a bit negative, but he was only saying what a lot of us were probably thinking deep down. Haye was a little stand-offish and not really throwing a great deal - and that can cost you when fighting abroad anywhere....... if cost Dirrell remember.

Woodhall is better suited to the studio IMO - sometimes on commentary he goes into an Andy Gray type nuthugging mode..... just watch Calzaghe vs Kessler for that

I bet Paul McCloskey is hoping Watt doesn't cover any of his fights, given his indifference towards unorthodox type fighters.

"McCloskey has got to defend himself, or he's gonna get caught!"

    I half agree with Greg.

Not that he is going anywhere but really if he goes, people will just moan about the next commentator(s)

    People moan about Dave Darts:nut

Seriously though, Watt has irritated me for years!

Johnny Nelson is the best guy on the sky team without doubt! McCrory should get the boot aswell.

Get Johnny Nelson ringside, get Watt in the studio and get Bunce presenting...that would liven it up a bit...:good

Sky needs to go interactive like the Boxing Hour used too...:yep

He is too narrow minded. He knows who he wants and thinks will win before the fight, so all the way through, he'll be commentating on them.

Like the Mayweather fight. There were whole rounds where he didn't say one thing about what marquez was doing. That's incredible. Apart from being completely unproffessional, how do you actually do it? He was saying how Mayweather was avoiding punches, Mayweather was landing his own, Mayweather's footwork was good, Mayweather's handspeed was impressive....absolutely awful commentary.

Before the fight, he was talking down about Haye and I knew he'd be against him and he was. You can't be biased as a commentator, yet he clearly is.

I think Watt is OK but I agree with Jack. Once he's decided to go down one path theres no stopping him.
