Well if he wore a cape he'd look like the original dracula.

lol bit of an east coast bias there smithy ?

Buchanan was the better fighter no question but that means he should get the commentary gig ?

Wish Tyson would be enlisted to do some commentary if/when he's back in the UK! He would be better than any of the current panel & no one would be better than him!

    His knowledge is first class!

 He would be far more entertaining than the sky crew not that thats saying much. Don't know about him having knowledge of the UK fighters though, he was hilarious during the prizefighter draw.

"Oh Oldley, ye i remember Oldley" :rofl:rofl

Watt is OK. He labours his points something chronic, and while he's not biased as such, he often views the fight from one fighters angle.

He was OK the other night though, fair all in all.

He should stay, I'm not seeing any great alternatives and compared to McKenzie he's eloquence itself

Darke and McCrory are the dream team though

Yeah, the Eurosport commentry is pretty good actually. It makes me laugh anyway.

I remember one of them blurting out with the comment "this man should have been knowhere near a boxing ring tonight, or any other night for that matter" after a fighter had been stopped after about 20 seconds in an undercard fight.

I thought Alan Partridge had just entered the studio

Sky needs to overhaul the whole boxing team, from top to bottom. Too many of this lot are in the comfort zone in my opinion. I have no interest in hearing what any of them have to say, pre, during or after a fight - thats not good.

Sky need boxing pundits who are similar to the Sky cricket pundits. Bob Willis, Beefy Botham and those boys just say what they think, no matter what! Even if the cricket has been boring, I still look forward to what they have to say.

Time was up for Watt after he picked the sodding microphone up!

    Bloody grating bloke.

I remember him having a go at Corrales for going toe to toe with Castillo in the 1st fight. on and on he went..........on and on and on and on about how it was suicide about how they should just pack up there and then because he had spoken.

    Berk.

He definitely picks his theme for the night and repeats it constantly until the fight ends, or he's proved right

Very true actually, you can almost guess what they'll say in advance

well it looks like we'll be getting a lethal dose of Jim Watt on saturday for the Mayweather-Marquez fight. I for one can't wait............for alternative commentary on sky.
