I agree, I thought you meant the champ SHOULD enjoy that advantage of being champ and box office star work in his favor of winning a dec. rather than the fact that, thats what happens sometimes. In other words you're just acknowledgeing the fact of thats what happens sometimes, not agreeing with it, I do agree.

The bottom line: "If the promoter doesn't see you as a popular figure or a guy who'll be marketable, the chances of you getting a friendly decision is highly unlikely...

Guys like Jimmy Young were never big ticket sellers.... Young needed a name opponent on the bill to sell the arena.......

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Follow the money. What you will find is just how rare it is that the moneyed guy gets screwed.

Thats B.S. There were certain promoters who had influence over the judges, the 70's were an era of corrupt influence and it went on strong in the 90's...King still roars his ugly head and his influence has diminished.

    Don King even ruined Tyson..

All the big promoters have influence over the judges.... Any judge who thinks he's bigger than the man with the money bag will notice his phone stops ringing if he fails to play ball the way the promoter likes to play...

Now, King is a no brainer in terms of crookedness, but Arum and the rest of the shady lot of promoters are all greedy money whores who'll cheat, lie and bribe there way to remain on top...
