Terrible fight, and PPV no less?
Let Marquez fight Hatton. Sit on the shelf and wait for 6 months if you have to, the man is old, give him a final payday.
Don't stick him in there with someone he has already brutally knocked out, whose boxing ability and mental and physical toughness has eroded, coming off a bad loss, and brings little money to the table.

WTF was HBO thinking? Marquez deserve main-event status on HBO, but wait for the right fight. Last year HBO did a great job by creating only 3 PPVs, it really brought in the casual fans and made UFC look bad, they are taking a big step backwards here.

    Hatton's retired.

Marquez needs to fight Katsidis if he wants to keep his WBO title or Paulus Moses if he want's to keep his WBA title.

Don't mind the rematch at all really since the first fight was so good. But putting this on PPV is silly.

It's a shame to see such a beautiful weightclass to get tore up like that!

The latest is that he hasn't decided, and urges people to not listen to the press.

Katsidis brings even less money, and I believe is slated to fight Kevin Mitchell.

Marquez doesn't need this at this point in his career... Time is ticking and Diaz doesn't do anything for him in the long run.... financially or career wise there are much better choices..

As long as it's here in Houston I'll be happy because I will be there for sure.

Diaz is coming off 1.5 losses. JMM deserves better than this. But even if they make this, PPV??!?! Cmon.
