Newbie Marquez is my favorite fighter but I don't like see him facing a younger hard hitting lion the guy is 40 anytime he will feel his age.

Thing about Lucas he uses intelligent pressure, always closing the distance, but he's very relaxed, cool headed, but he's very versatile and I'm surprised no one is mentioning this. He can box, pressure, infight, and counterpunch. He roughhouses beautifully enough to make Hopkins proud. He's not your typical ko puncher what I'm saying. And because of this he will go on to great things. Lucas never wastes an opportunity either, like when Lamont trying to use angles to escape, Lucas caught him going back. Not very fast, but Lucas times his punches extremely well. Jmm is a legend, but Lucas I think will only get better. He's kinda like a throwback fighter, no nonsense, all business in the ring. We might not have seen the best of Lucas yet I believe.

 

JMM has an high KO percentage (+64%, which is higher than Pacquiaos) and has stopped nearly everyone he has faced above featherweight... minus Floyd Money Mayweather.

JMM has stunned pac in their first fight numerous of times, the second fight he rocked pac hard... the only fight where it appeared he didn't hurt Pac much was the 3rd fight, where he coincidentally had one of his most dominating performances. The idea that he somehow was unable to hurt pac is nonsense, the idea that he developed power overnight is also nonsense. This guy has always had power, over the long career he has had, with 64%^ KO percentage its kinda impossible to not have good punching power.

 

His age makes any and every fight dangerous.

It wasent easy or comfortable that's for sure *roll eyes*

 

Bradley looked **** in his last fights. He was beaten by a very uninspired and lazy Pacquiao and goes through hell with an unknown fighter. Bradley is just ruined emotionally. Brilliant fight for JMM to take.

 

Very very dangerous fight for JMM at his age.

 

Rios had him too in the rematch against Alvarado.
