I made a JMM combo video but the channel was taken down due to copyright complaints from Don King Productions. I'll do another one but I plan on tweaking it a bit and adding clips from the Pacquiao fights, since people were bitching about it.
Marquez is the beethoven of boxing. . . His combinations could conduct an orchestra. . . as his left, and right hands transition with perfect timing, and land with surgical precision, each punch anticipating where the prior punch will place the head. . . It's like a pendulum of perfection. . . Right, left, right, right, left, left, right, left, right!
That's the classical Mexican boxer/puncher school of pugilism. . . With Nacho Beristain being the best professor of the style. . . I'd argue Finito has similar, or possibly even better combinations. . . But pretty much a draw between the two.
Floyd mayweather would disagree. The guy suks and couldnt even beat chris john!! ( oh i forgot he was weight drained and forced to fight at an uncomfortable weight against a guy obviously on peds.... The guy is way over rated and has 6!!! Losses!!..)
I like how he integrates uppercuts into his combinations , underutilized punches. Most fighters throw the basic jab, cross, left hook , but JMM seems to favor throwing a left uppercut instead, almost like a 45. It's super effective, most fighters dont see it coming , there lookin for the hook.
