That being said iv never really liked him, the least he could of done is be humble after getting a gift against pacquiao.

The only problem with Pacquiao's way of thinking is that Hatton fought an in your face type of battle with Mayweather. Lots of clutching, clinching, and grabbing which entails the use of physical strenghth and force being used.
DLH had reach and strenghth at his side. DLH fought Mayweather at 154 lbs which was DLH's natural weight at that time.
Even then, the only time DLH had some sucess with Mayweather is when he'd back him up to the ropes using his long jab
Its the long jab that made Mayweather uneasy and alert when backing up, to be aware not to get blinded by the jab for a bigger shot to come.
......even being backed up with that jab, DLH landed little which was clean and effective, Mayweather being defensively alert and too slippery even when he was in front of his opponent.

Pacquiao neither has the strenghth of Hatton, or the jab of DLH, so his take that volume punching disrupts Mayweather is off key.

What is'nt off key is that we know that volume punching has been Pacquiao's trademark for a long time and even more so at his stay at Welter vs the likes of Hatton, DLH, Cotto, Margarito, etc.......

Off of that we know that the one thing that disrupts Pacquiao's volume hard snapping punches is the strong counterpunch.
Landing a strong counter as Marquez repeatedly did vs Pacquiao, not only disrupts Pacquiao's volume, but it diminishes the snap and torque on his punches.
Getting hit flush on the face in the midst of Pacquiao throwing volume with snap, forces Pacquiao to throw less and with less snap and conviction on his punches.

If you're a Pacquiao fan, it has got to be an uneasy feeling to see him transformed into an arm punching leary to let his hands go puncher in the face of all those counters being dropped at his noggin.

Marquez in the video made it clear that defense and distance wise, Mayweather is by far the superior fighter.
If it were a spanish show, Marquez would have broke it down to a tee why Pacquiao has virtually no chance against Mayweather.

"Mayweather does'nt come to fight," Marquez said of Mayweather.
100% true. In the face of a real live tough opponent, Mayweather will never give you the chance to fight him.
Boxing will be the name of the game, not fighting.

Pacquiao is neither a long distance stay out of range fighter, nor is he an in your face got to stick to the inside destroyer.
Pacquiao is a mid distance fighter who has to be at his range for his shots to carry the snap and power to them and be effective.

Pacquiao has been successful against slower plodders because he's able to secure the distance he needs using his much faster legs.
Pacquiao cant secure the distance he likes to operate in against a fighter who's not slow and knows how to navigate a ringe and give angles.

These are very valid points. But how do you account for Judah doing so well against mayweather before he gassed out? Speed? Southpaw? Pressure? If Juday could do it what makes you think Pac cant?

Maybe what I am about to say makes a difference, maybe it doesn't... But one thing that Judah has over PAC is that he knew mayweather like the back of his hand. They were great friends and they trained and sparred together religiously. That alone should answer your question.

PAC knows nothing about what mayweather's capabilities and limitations are in comparison.

The jab!

I had Judah taking 4 out of the first 5 rounds against Mayweather simply on beating Mayweather to the jab.
Judah's jab was quicker than Mayweather's.
Two things happened after round 5.....
1. Mayweather adapted and made adjustments to deal with the jab
and
2. Judah is a mental midget of the highest order he could not counter any adjustment Mayweather bestowed upon him.

DLH gave Mayweather major problems with the jab.

Does Pacquiao have a DLH or Judah type of consistent hard jab?

The answer is simply a resounding no!!!!!!!

WIth no real jab or a consistent inside game to speak of, Pacquiao is toast vs Mayweather!
That simple really!

Being defensive or countering predominantly doesn't win you fights on the cards in absolute. Look at the Pacquiao Marquez record.

Pacquiao controls distance great, it is his willingness to trade that gives his opponent opportunities. You speak as though Pacquaio will not have a resolution to space and distance. It is Floyd who should be anxious as Pac will negotiate the distance problem and will land shots without doubt. The question will be if Floyd will continue to try and "box" and win points or if he will become more aggressive. Either choice will be important to the results of the fight.
