I agree, but at the same time Floyd is a small welterweight who would be dwarfed by guys like Williams and Mosley. Maybe Floyd should go down to 140 again to fight Pacman or JMM. I KNOW Floyd can make 140 with no problem, he had to eat alot more then he normally does to maintain 150 lbs during training camp for the Oscar fight. Hell make it at a catch weight of 142 or 144 if they want, I'm not really into those catch weight fights but JMM nor Pacman should be fighting at 147 lbs, not now anyway. I think its more fair to match Floyd up with someone Pacmans size or JMM, rather then Williams, Margarito, or Mosley who walk around between 160 - 170 pounds.

    1. yes
    2. Actually i wouldnt say that. Not at all
    3. He does but only if the fight is at 147 or very close to it. Then mayweather will hold huge advantages and if he( floyd) wins it would be such a big deal.
    4. Mayweather/oscar/mayweather/oscar/Mayweather/oscar/mayweather/oscar...............Oscar hadnt fought at that weight for how many years?

I would love to see Marquez and Floyd fight but at the moment there are more questions the answers. Does Marquez really wanna fight at 147?, Does Floyd really wanna fight a man seemingly in his prime first fight back? This fight might happen but down the line, I mean I believe at the moment the fights a pipe dream.

This is ludicrous, Floyd isn't the Draw that Oscar was but he is a much bigger draw then JMM. Most casual fans only know JMM as "the guy who Pac knocked down 3 times, and came back to almost win" thats the truth. :deal

Yeh but only in floyds last two fights---vs oscar and hatton did they help drag him into being some kind of a draw.

I just dont want to see JMM go down like Hatton MW will be way to much for him power wise at 147 ..At 140 it suits JMM ..But again MW is the draw so im sure he has the say ..And your right Williams and Margs are just smaller middles really ..Floyd is really a light weight ..But lets hope for the best because the fight is still very intriguing ..

He's right. Floyd is such an unreasonable negotiator that he will try to leave JMM with a tiny portion of the purse. In terms of dollars in his pocket he could make more by taking the pacquiao vs Hatton winner or a couple of other fights out there.

Dumb fight. He should fight another Welter for his tune-up, doesn't have to be an elite one.

2 and 3 are irrelevant. And it's not as if what happened at 4 is the norm. Using a freak occurance as justification for someone else doing the same is pretty ****ing pathetic. The man is a FEATHERWEIGHT. No more than that (And don't bother using the weigh-in on fight night argument, that means **** all). I suppose I agree with 1 though, to an extent.
