If GBP matches the offer, can TR actually up their offer? I don't think they can.

I really don't see why GBP would even dare to counter offer JMM on a financial standpoint.
And even then, I don't think JMM, ****-drinking aside, is dumb enough to take that fight over a legacy cementing and definitely more profitable fight against Pac.

Furthermore, I don't see Pac, Roach, heck even Arriza and Arum ever bowing down to JMM's demands EVER.
They all believe that JMM is a done deal for Pac and they will only consider him as an opponent should ***s (hint! hint!) continue to evade Pac.

It doesn't add jack **** to Pac's legacy either.

In short, I don't see why any of these (provided that they are true) can "make TR pull Pac down to 140 for a fight with JMM".

JMM needs a tune fight before he face the beast at 147.

JMM@140 + peepee power drink = Pac by KO

JMM@144 + peepee power drink = Pac by KO

JMM@147 + peepee power drink = Pac by KO

i find it hard to believe marquez would choose canelo alvarez at 147 over pac at the same weight. whatever the official weigh in will be, pac always rehydrate to 148-149. that's near jmm's weight on fight night.

alvarez will be too big for marquez.

also, a guarantee of 5 million with pac is ALOT bigger than a 5 million guarantee with alvarez

    HELLO???????!!!!!!!!!!! PAY PER VIEW?????!!!

    that's hardly a counter offer.

pac-jmm3 would probably make at least more than 700k PPV (clottey fight). how much PPV would jmm-canelo make? this is not even a close offer.

divac kissing jmm's balls as usual.

convince ur lover juan to take gbp's offer. this is by far the best bail out under the circumstances..

we both know that jmm will look like a clown and will be torn apart(mortal kombat style) by pacquiao if ever this fight gets made at 147lbs. :deal

Pacquiao vs Marquez III would easily do a million buys in the States..... Marquez vs Alvarez probably wouldn't be a PPV event.

Golden Girl should do the right thing by their fighter (seen as though that's what they say they do) and let Marquez take the fight.

It would be a career best payday and a highly significant fight for both he and Pacquiao. Who really gives a **** about Alvarez, if JMM won people would just say he beat some hypejob and if he lost it would be a case of losing to a middleweight.

Without losing an awful lot of money and without looking like complete idiots there's nothing they can do to match a $5m guarantee plus an upside - which would probably come in at close to $10m.

If that's the case, what's the point of your thread insinuating a possibility of JMM Canelo fight.

Actually.....Golden Boy and DLH are screwing JMM. PAC has other options that are bigger and more challenging. The only reason PAC would want to fight JMM is to give him a payday and a chance to convincingly beat Juan. However....a win over JMM at this stage means next to nothing. It means about as much as it did for Floyd.

JMM is a warrior and he does want a chance to beat PAC, but knows his chances are slim to none. But that chance is enough to get him to take the fight....He just wants to get paid for it...and he should.

By facing Canelo....he'll lose to a fighter who isn't PAC...he'll make the same money but losing to Canelo vs losing to PAC makes it a easy decision for Juan. He wants to fight PAC but Golden Boy seems to want to cash in on the name and create a NEW star in Canelo.

I HOPE they offer the fight to JMM at 140....better yet...135! At least there, JMM is able to operate at his highest level, keeping most of his attributes that make him a dangerous fighter. At 140 and above.....JMM becomes ordinary.

I don't think JMM would have a choice in that matter. It seems JMM has to accept Golden Boy's offer if that offer matches any other offer. So if Arum is offering Pac for 5 million and Golden Boy offers Alvarez for 5 million then JMM has to face Alvarez. He could sit and fight noone until Golden Boy's clause expires but in that case JMM would have to sit until next year and that would be bad for him at this point in his career. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
