actually, pac was a late sub for the 1st barrera fight. i think pac was given only about a month's notice. and jmm also ignored guzman, choosing to fight juarez instead.

Personally, I wouldn't blame Pac one bit if he did this. As a fan though, I would like to see a Pac/Guzman fight.

The accuser is guilty of avoiding everybody too. Look at Guzman's resume. His title defenses (if that thing really exist) were not even in the top 10 or 20 of any division. The only two top ten in his resume are Soto and Barrios.

One thing to accuse, but make sure that your record is noteworthy too. When you are the champion, if the top dogs do not want to fight (as you claim), then try to fight the next top dogs (meaning at least top 10, but preferably top 5-6) and not fight the number 31 or 32 in the WBO organization for your defense. Otherwise, it is obvious you are trying to preserve the 0 in the loss coulmn (which is another word for record padding).

"If he was thinking Pacquiao, he took himself out of the sweepstakes," Arum said. "He's not appealing to the people. I gotta do 350,000 homes (on pay-per-view) on these fights. I'm lucky I do 150,000 with him. It's more than winning the fight. You have to entertain the people. Who's going to buy this kid? The first six rounds it looked like a fight of the year. The last six rounds, he turned the crowd against him. You have to have people wanting to buy him. The last six rounds he stunk it out."

A fight with JMM is way better now than a fight with Guzman, it's a rematch everyone wants and a rematch MANY have been waiting for. After that whoever wins can fight Guzman since he'll be the best challenge for them.

I dont see nothing wrong with Pac fighting Guzman it would be a real test for him a victory over him will help his legacy.Oscar larios and Jorge Solis had a shot at him i dont see why Joan Guzman can have his.

Pac is going to knock Guzman out...Guzman is overrated and he is a natural but not as refined as you guys seem to think.

as with all potential big fights, money is the big issue in regards to it being made. guzman simply cannot draw, to attract arum's attention. though if possible i still would like this fight to be made.

I think Pac eventually will face him.

Remember when everyone thought he won't accept JMM's challenge in favor of David Diaz?

    What happened?

It is just matter of time, baby..:hey
