He is in the top 2.

Its either Joe or Roy. And tbh i would go with Joe on the pretence that Jones' career at 168 was very short.

There have been greater fighters historically in the 168 division, but i think as a super middleweight Calzaghe is the best the division has seen so far.

Joe Calzaghe is the best super middleweight in the history of that division, he showed that he was better than anyone at or around that weight class. With an undefeated record and a stellar 20 + title defenses, there's no question in my mind that Calzaghe is the best that - that division has ever seen.

I think Joe Calzaghe is one of the best fighters to ever live. When I first seen him fight, I had no doubt that he would remain undefeated for how ever long his career lasted.

There's no way that Jones, Toney, Johnson, Hopkins, or Tarver would be able to beat Calzaghe at any point in his career - he would prove to be just too much.
He throws too many punches, never gets tired, never backs down, and has damn good ring savvy.

On top of that he never fought like the typical human fighter, he blended an unorthodox style, with great rhythm and swag.
