Now look at the dates you have given and remember that until Calzaghe beat Kessler, Kessler was the WBC champ, not Calzaghe. So Dino, do you think Kessler was a ducker for facing champ Calzaghe rather than mandatory Froch. Please answer. Froch was a mandatory who had done less than Veit 2 as a mandatory, less than Mitchell, Brewer, Reid, Woodhall etc
Stop trying to worm your way out of the facts that are on display. Kessler has nothing to do with the situation. Froch was NOT mandatory challenger to Kessler when he was champ.
Your quote This content is protected 10th Froch became mandatory - YOUR QUOTE Calzaghe fought Kessler in This content is protected . Kessler was champ until Calzaghe beat him. then Calzaghe gave up the belts and moved up a division where he fought Hopkins in the following This content is protected . Looks like you have walked right into another flush counter do explain that one Dino
Dino gets owned again So Froch became mandatory in MAy according to dino and Kessler was WBC champ. So do you think Kessler was a ducker for fighting the SMW champ and best SMW ever in Calzaghe and not Froch the unknown mandatory British champ. This content is protected Kessler fought Calzaghe in November and Calzaghe moved up for the bigger fight in Hopkins Your quote This content is protected 10th Froch became mandatory - YOUR QUOTE Calzaghe fought Kessler in This content is protected . If Kessler won he would of had to face Froch, since Joe won the challenge was on him to face the winner of the eliminator which was Froch...That is how the game works...Any more questions for me?
Once again Russian Super Middle Denis Inkin has pulled out of a matchup with Carl Froch and the WBC says enough is enough. The Froch/Inkin bout was supposed to be an eliminator for a crack at the title but Inkin made it easy by claiming a bad back and eliminating himself. Froch's PR guy Mick Hennessy is looking to fill the May 10th Nottingham date with Alejandro Berrio but it looks like the WBC has already made up their mind in regard to whom the next in line is. Check out the letter forwarded to Pound4Pound early Monday: To: MR. CARL FROCH Dear champion: The WBC Board of Governors has reviewed the situation concerning your case and the two unfortunate cancellations of the final elimination fights that were scheduled to determine the mandatory contender of the super middleweight division of the WBC. The WBC has voted unanimously to appoint you as mandatory contender of the division. We would like to wish you the best of luck and once again congratulate you for your exemplary loyalty to the World Boxing Council. Sincere regards, Jose Sulaiman Ch.
So you got it wrong in that Kessler was WBC champ when Froch was made mandatory, not Calzaghe. Now answer the questions about Kessler. Calzaghe and Kessler agreed to fight each other, while Froch was a mandatory British champ and both had faced mandatories previously. Calzaghe beat Kessler to be WBC champ and had a choice, fight mandatory Froch, fight mandatory Steiglitz, fight mandatory Inkin. All of which were not big names and not well known and none had been in any world title fights. Or Calzaghe could go up to LHW and fight the LHW champ who was and still is a bigger name then all in Hopkins who was also a tougher fight. Which do you think was the right move? So Froch was only a mandatory when Calzaghe won the WBC title in a fight that Calzaghe was having to clear up SMW before going to LHW. Now isnt it odd that - Froch didnt win a SMW title until after Calzaghe had, had his last fight Inkin didnt win a SMW title until after Calzaghe had already been fighting at LHW Froch and Inkin were both undefeated mandatories, with Inlin holding an amateur win over Froch. So you think that Calzaghe should have fought one of those fighters who hadnt done anything of real note instead of the LHW champ atsch Now Dino answer, do you think Kessler was a ducker for fighting Calzaghe the best SMW instead of unknown madatory Froch?
If Kessler had beat Joe and vacated the belt instead of fighting his no.1 mantatory challenger for the belt i'd label him a ducker.......Joe had the belts for a day and fled up to LH where he fought two old timers for a non title and then threw in the towel.....
Its a reason why The majority of the boxing world does not respect Joe Calzaghe . Sorry to say it , he seems like a likable person but The guy was pretty much a fraud .
atsch dino trolling badly again. Many would pick Hopkins now to beat Froch, but back then most would have picked Hopkins to beat Froch Yeah, hes been made to look a wally again What reason? Winning WBO WBC WBA IBF SMW titles, being the top dog at SMW & LHW, winning 24 world title fights, being 46-0. Beating fighters like Eubank, Jones, Hopkins, Kessler, Lacy, Reid, Brewer, Mitchell, Veit, Woodhall who had all been world champs and all world rated when beaten. Looks a terrible fraud atsch. Even now years after the SMW division leads back to him when you think the second best SMW has a loss to him and the current top man of the divisions best win is to a Calzaghe victim
