Taylor is a good fighter, but Kessler was actually a better win for Joe than Jermain would be. Mikkel was undefeated, had two world titles, and is technically a better boxer than Taylor.

No need to fight Taylor now really, he has nothing to offer. Kelly Pavlik is the fight to start talking about.

No question about it - since Pavlik's twice defeated Taylor, he would be a far more meaningful opponent for Joe.

Joe's a great fighter who wasted his prime years defending the weakest belt with the worst ranking system in the weakest division. He should have made some noise earlier.

He should go for Pavlik if he beats Hopkins, but knowing Warren I wouldn't be surprised if it was another Manfredo at the Millennium Stadium

Kessler didnt fight anywhere near the calibre of fighter Taylor fought.

Taylor deserves far more respect than Kessler.

If only the Welsh football team were as successful :p

Oh and Krisv1 - I would have to disagree with you (Shocking). Tunney5 is right - Kessler was definitely a better win for Joe than Taylor would ever be.

In the current BM mag Joe says that had Pavlik not been tied up with Taylor, then he would've liked to have had Pavlik as his opponent for his "break out" fight in the US. Who knows, maybe a future opponent. Can't see it tho.

Calzaghe has to fight a few more top fighters. Maybe Tarver, Jermain, Pavlik.
    Happy Birthday.

Joe should fight the winner of Tarver vs. Woods or Roy Jones next. Jones is willing to go to Britain now.

Joe is one of the biggest talents in this decade. Up there with RJJ, Pernell, PBF.

He may be the best fighter of this decade.
