Pavlik fans love to over exxagerate . Pavlik and Jones were mentioned initially as possibilities .Thats it a possibility ! It his names was tossed into the mix after Taylor lost thats it ..Again Pavlik better worry about Double A !! There are more pressing issues at middle weight for the Ghost than at Lt Heavy !
he definately is not taking the best challenge out there. call it what you will he does not want to fight him because he knows it would be hard to beat him. The biggest reward would be beating pavlik in the history books not a has been jones and acient hopkins.
The biggest challnge and reward happened in the Hopkins fight not against a green Kelly Pavlik who only has 1 real quality win on his resume thus far !(2 if you count the same opponent )
I don't think money has anything to do with it anymore because like it or not Pavlik is a big name now and a fight with him would attract lots of money too. The whole RJJ means more money thing doesn't mean **** anymore. I don't think JC is ducking anyone and a fight with RJJ would be much tougher for him then a fight with Pavlik.
