Papa Calzaghe said Pavlik isn't a big enough name for Joe and needs to win 5 to 8 titles before Joe will consider him. Joe has made similar comments.

I think you have to take into account a fighter's resume when judging him, otherwise you could come up with virtually anything as a ranking. Calzaghe's has a few weaker fighters on it but there are a number of good ones as well (Eubank, Reid, Woodhall, Sheika, Brewer, Mitchell, Starie). However, many stateside still think his career began in 2006!

Not really. Your lame analogies discredit you so I don't need to bother.

Even though Joe hasn't won that many?! Silly old Enzo as usual. He's best sticking to his own level training Gavin Rees.

2006 was the year he started testing himself. Calzaghe was favourite for every one of those fights you mentioned. Lacy was the first time he took on a 50/50 fight.

Absolutely. I was just saying if u haven't fought a name or quality u can't prove ur great but u also can't prove ur not. You cant say Calzaghe would have beat a prime RJJ but then you cant say he wouldnt have

Same as you can't PROVE that someone who has only fought bums would have been good at boxing at the top level??
