    Quit ducking this question...

When Roy held that belt you called it a trinket, but when Joe holds it you credit him...

    Please explain this.

If you are consistent and unbiased with your logic, neither was Joe.

For Joe to have been THE champion at 175, Roy would have had to been THE champ at 175...

I have been schooling you minions on this for years, but you keep ignoring and ducking the question.

How have I been 'ducking' this? I haven't been on here. DM was THE champion. Simple enough. They just handed Roy the belt because he has the WBC, WBA, IBF two of which rightfully belonged to DM. Jones NEVER fought THE champion in any weightclass he was in. Some will argue Toney was but he wasn't but I am willing to throw you a bone so we can say Jones never fought THE champion in 3 of the 4 weight classes he fought in. That is disgraceful.

You still ducked, and went off topic with more Jones ramblings...

You credit Calzaghe for holding that belt but called it a trinket when Roy had it..

It is very simple, either it was legit when Roy had it, or it was a trinket all the way through Calzaghe holding it..

DM lost to Gonzalez who lost to Erdei..

Roy lost to Tarver, who lost to Hopkins who lost to Calzaghe..

Your claim that Calzaghe was THE champ at 175, makes no sense if you don't give Roy credit.

So if you would throw me another bone and agree Tarver was the #1 LHW when Roy beat him, we can put this to rest.

    Yeah,

very sad, and ****ed off that for decades New Yorkers, and other 57 thousandth generation Irish Yanks funded the IRA to bomb and kill English civilians in bars restaurants, parks, and shopping precincts in England.

Are you so stupid you expected sympathy?

It is clear that you were shamefully dispatched from this thread..

But I can take this a little further..

Hopkins was rated #1 by the IBF when Roy beat him, and wouldn't lose again for over a decade, racking up one of the best MW resumes of all time...

Sometimes those kinds of victories are better than beating THE Champ while faded and past his best.

So it can be argued, Roy mixed it up with the best fighters in 3 of the 4 divisions.. HW being the only one, and its understandable as it was an era of Super Heavyweights and Roy was a former JMW.:good

Roy was never THE champion in any weightclass he fought in. Furthermore he also NEVER fought THE champion in any weightclass he was in.

That is unfortunate, but I would like you to know I do not support that and had nothing to do with it. I am also not sure what it has to do with boxing. Maybe you could contact Dr. Phil?

The only thing I expect out of you is the vile you spit all over the forums. You are a very hateful person.

    Again genius..

    Stop ducking..

Explain to me how Calzaghe was THE LHW champion then... And explain why the Ring belt was a trinket when Roy was holding it but legit when Calzaghe had it?

Calzaghe was the RING LHW champ and the RING SMW champ.

He was NOT the lineal LHW champ, but he WAS the lineal SMW champ.

Hope we've cleared that up now?
