I'm one of Calzaghe's biggest critics, but come on he'd beat Ward

I'll give you the complete list of bums that held the WBO 168lb belt from its inception to JC.

    Tommy Hearns
    Chris Eubank
    Steve Collins
    Joe Calzaghe

What a bunch of bums. The worst out of em is Collins who would at worst be a middle ranking champ in the list of champs at 168 from the other sanctioning bodies. Go have a look at the lists. The WBO belt at 168 is the only one with consistent high calibre holders up to the end of Joe's reign.

    Champions make belts. Remember that.

Ward totally dominates that fake ass chump. Calzaghe ducked and doged for years, Ward takes whoever, wherever. Ward accomplished more in his career already than that **** Calzaghe who only gave a **** about his precious '0'. Ward is the better inside fighter if calzaghe took it there, and ward would counterpunch the **** out of him if he stayed on the outside. Calzaghe doesnt have the slapping power to hurt ward anyways.

Take a look at their policies from that era. Look at all the vacant titles auctioned off to whatever "ranked fighters" pay the fee. Look at the other weight classes. It was clear to anyone with any sense that the WBO was not a legit or respected sanctioning body when Joe won the "title". The WBO equaled todays WBU. The fact it took him nearly 10 years to step up from the regional level and attempt a unification is telling.
