I didn't really point out any disadvantages or advantages of either men in respect to such aspects though, i just said that i think Charles is comfortable fighting at the torrid pace Calzaghe sets. I just factor in how good they were and how they fought most effectively, Just my methods though, not to say i'm correct outright.

Nobody overlooks the 'advantages', if you can always call them that. If anything, the modern bunch are less fit, more injury prone and weakened from shedding so much weight in order to gain a size advantage. Modern training has actually devolved if anything to be replaced with athletic training.

Make them weigh in on fight night with 8oz gloves and do 15 rounds. Or match Calzaghe up against cruisers or small heavyweights instead of middleweights, seeing as he entered the ring at about 190lbs, if you think that modern fighters have got such an advantage.

Blokes like Cotto and Tszyu usually end up blowing after 8 or 9 rounds, nevermind 15. So much for progress.

Joe C. against perhaps the greatest LH of all time and a damn good HW as well? Joe's good but this would be too great a task for Calzaghe. Ezzard by UD or late round stoppage.

Is somebody taking the **** here? What next? Could Audley Harrison beat Ali? Charles walks it with ease.
