    Nearly 11,000 posts and you havent heard much of Joe Calzaghe?

    Are you serious?

    The Manfredo fight certainly wasnt one of his best wins. Manfredo shouldnt have even been in the ring with Calzaghe. He was slaughtered!
    The ref could have let it go on for a few more seconds but it wasn't going to last much longer than that anyway.

    If Mora had trouble with Manfredo then Calzaghe would have given him a good "Lacy'ing"!

    ....and im not even a big fan of Joes!

    why are posters posting topics of mythical match-ups that really wouldn't be close? i mean, joe calzaghe is going to go down as one of the greats, yet this mythical match-up puts him against a reality show winner. ****ing come on, if you're going to do mythical match-ups, then atleast do some good ones.

    WTF with all these threads about prime this against prime that.. take this **** to the classics forum. Besides how the **** are you going to put Calazaghe in the same sentence with mora. A HOFer against a guy whose claim to fame is being in the contender. Everyday there're two new threads about peopel asking similar questions. And you know what must of the times we'll never know because fighters are from different eras different weight classes and different circumtances. But on this one we do know Calzaghe would know mora out easily and just asking is disrespecting the old champ.

    Didn't Calzaghe have an extremely competitive fight with Sakio Bika? Bika was on The Contender, season 2 was he not? :huh So who is to say Mora, who also beat Manfredo (One of Calzaghes top 10 best wins), wouldn't also give him a good fight? :deal

    what advanatges does sergio mora have over calzaghe? once you come up with your answer, you'll then realise why it wouldn't of been a good fight.

    Calzaghe 46-0 beat, Eubank, Reid, Woodhall, Brewer, Mitchell, Bika, Lacy, Kessler, Sheika, Veit who went on to win and lose against current jailed WBO LHW champ Braehmer, Mkrtchyan who won the European title after losing to Calzaghe, Hopkins who was The Ring LHW champ, and who had just beaten Wright and went on to beat Pavlik, and a still in the top ten LHW Ring ratings but faded Jones who has question marks over his career about PEDs, and Manfredo who to me isnt one of his top ten wins but is a fighter who was in the Ring top ten SMWs when Calzaghe beat him,

    but......

    yeah I think Mora would KO him even though hes not a big puncher.
