Prime Jones would have been massive but I don't think the rest really have any chance to be frank; especially Dawson who I need to witness fighting more top talent, he's very questionable but people do seem to see him as the savior of that division. However I will say this I do respect Bute because unlike so many others you don't hear him waffling on every other fight about fighting Joe. I'm not saying he knows he'd lose but I am saying he is smart enough to know when he feels he is ready.
Can't we go back to Calzaghe being the underdog among the Americans, for us to quietly go about our business and leave the gloating until the win is in the bag.
I am not the one insulting here. What will you be like come April when Hopkins loses? Are you just going to abuse people for picking the better fighter? Nice avater friend. Seems like a formiddable guy!
Gloating in victory is cowards talk A real man is bold before the battle, and when he is eventually proved correct takes the plaudits
Yes, and when did Canadians become yanks. Dawson has a good shot because he's a young, quick handed fighter, has good movement, and would easily be the most naturally gifted fighter Joe has faced to date. He has height and reach advantage and is probably the only guy there who can match it with Joe from the outside. Kessler was too straight up and predictable.
Not at all. Dont make me out to be the unresonable one here. You're the one who's only contribution all day has been to state how great Joe is & how crap everyone else is apart from making a **** of yourself in the Lennox thread. It's a "pick em" fight for me. Joe's work rate will impress the judges but he wastes punches at the best of times so I see him wasting even more against a wiley campaigner like Hopkins. If Bernard can punish Joe for his own flaws then he will win. It will be close but I don't think simply throwing a hundred punches a round will win Joe the fight this time.
Dawson seems to be the preferred option for Joe after Hopkins. I for one would love to see him take on Dawson. Dawson is very thin, very gangly for the weight I cannot forsee any problem for Joe to be frank I honestly can't and even if I thought he would better Joe I would love to see the fight all the same because that's the magic; finding out.
Yes, I suspect he might have a weak chin as well but won't be a problem against Joe who is not a one punch KO artist.
Fair enough. He sounds like a young Joe Calzaghe, if your description is apt, with no American bias creeping in Maybe he can carry the torch for pugilism mastery once Joe retires, dare I say it
Yes indeed but you need to keep the boldness under control, Joe style. If not you run the risk of becoming Mayweather-esque!
