Hey, there was better competition out there. I really don't care what you say about me, I'm here to talk about boxing not to argue about one's knowledge of the sport. I'll give you the Charles Brewer thing, he was alright. He lost his belt to Ottke, a crooked fighter. But he wasn't excatly elite or close, a beltholder but when he fought Calzaghe he didn't have much left.
Extremely poor post, characterized by a lack of knowledge He has fought more than one credible opponent It will take more than somebody in their prime with a plan to beat Joe Calzaghe. That could be virtually anyone, in which case you are terrible at analysing fighters Start here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxing

I can't take you seriously, you practice the religion of Calzaghe. You're one of the biggest nuthuggers of Joe Calzaghe. I already apoligized about overlooking some of his good opponents. But you're missing the point about this thread. Joe Calzaghe is good and I already gave him credit about where he is today. But he is by no means a top 50 ATG.
I agree with you there, but you should see some of his fans. He will if he beats the champs in his division as well as one in Light Heavy. such as Dawson.
heres the bottom line...joe is a real good fighter but not a great..hopkins at his worst will give joe a hell of a time and hopkins knows this..you see all the punches joe can throw hopkins knows how to take them away thats why he wants to fight him..he did it to taver and a whole bunch of others..he can still move very well in there and everyone who has fought him as of late said the same thing DAMM HES HARD TO HIT!! so if joe cant land clean then good old joe is ****ed
