You say Calzaghes first 27 fights to Wards we know Ward has not got one win as good as Calzaghes over Eubank.

But lets look at who they beat by the same age as you want it levelled.
Ward is 30 now and we know who he has fought as many dont know the division until Lacy came around.

Before Calzaghe turned 31 he had beaten Eubank, Reid, Woodhall who had all been SMW champs and were top rated as well as having greater resumes than comparably to the fighters Ward beat when he fought them.

Ward had beaten Kessler which is topped by Calzaghe then beating Eubank

Ward had beaten Froch his next big win, think then before I go through any of Calzaghes bigger wins that Froch was coming off a Mdec over old faded, boiled down G Johnson and Calzaghe beat Sheika coming off a win over prime SMW G Johnson.

Wards next big win is probably Dawson who has no SMW resume at all and was bad at the weight. That doesnt compare at all to Woodhall who was a top SMW with pedigree at the weight

Wards next best win maybe Bika which does not compare at all to Reid who Calzaghe had beaten then.

If I note Green, we know that Green was beaten by old faded boiled down G Johnson that Sheika beat the prime version of, which puts Calzaghe up again

then we have to decide on Wards wins over Rodriguez or Abraham.

Rodriguez couldnt even make weight which says alot there and Abraham was coming off 2 clear S6 losses. That doesnt even compare to Starie who had beaten undefeated C Woods who went on to beat G Johnson.
Calzaghes next fight just outside this scale was against an undefeated fighter who became a SMW champ.

What makes it look even worse for Ward is that on this list are Wards best wins and yet Calzaghe still has several wins rated higher than this, not on this list for this time scale and 2 of Wards best wins here are faded fighters that Calzaghe had already beaten when they were prime
