    On an all-time great basis I would have Smokin’ Joe anywhere from 9 to 12. I voted as top 10 but on a different day I could see myself thinking he was 11 or 12.

    He is about 11/12 for me,having been displaced from the top ten by Holyfield and Tyson.

    Depending how you rate greatness. For me, resume is objective, H2H is hypotethical.

    Joe was a 204 pound swarmer , new blind in one eye his whole career .. his accomplishments based on tht are extraordinary .. when you see how he destroyed fighters even close to his own size or weight like Quarry , Ellis, Foster its brutal ... he may or may not be at the lower end of the top ten all time H2H but he sure is one of the all time great heavyweights P4P ..

    Who are your ten?

    Ali, Louis, Lewis, Holmes, Liston. Those are the only people I think have a strong case over him. Maybe Wlad as well. I think Holyfield has better big names than he actually does wins. Bowe is overrated AF, as is the iteration of Mike he went up against.
