I think prime Frazier has a good chance of beating either Klitschko. What are you talking about when you say "those slow jabs." Wlad's jab is the best in the HW division today and certainly one of the best HW jabs of all time.
Laughable. Frazier in his prime would KO Wlad and decision Vitali. The size advantage is actually a disadvantage here.
Alright, here's the deal. Frazier beat more versatile and capable fighters than anybody Wladimir Klitschko has faced. Such as Quarry and Ali. Frazier bested the greatest heavyweight of all time, a large man, and did it in style. Foreman had to throw everything at Smoke, and still couldn't keep him down. George literally had Frazier against the ropes and was landing everything, and Joe got up six ****ing times against quite possibly the hardest puncher in heavyweight history. Now, you mean to tell me, Frazier can't take a single right hand from Wladimir Klitschko? Yet David Haye, Eddie Chambers, Jean-Marc Mormeck and Ruslan Chagaev can? Just stop. Without fail in every hypothetical match-up thread you pick the more current boxer. Frazier is a stylistic nightmare for Wladimir, and of a vastly higher quality than anybody he's ever fought, and that ****ing counts, regardless of a few inches in height.[/QUOTE] PERFECTLY SAID!
For the record Joe Frazier doesn't Bob and Weave. He just bobs. A bob and weave make a U shape wheres a bob is just straight down like Frazier did. BTW Frazier would knock out both Klitschko's in under 5 rounds. Vitali would quit on his stool though.
Vitali might seriously quit .. he did against Byrd. If you gave Vitali Muhammad Ali's heart or Holyfield's heart.. Vitali would not have quit and will probably beat Frazier easily. but You can't give hearts.. Vitali is stuck with his own heart.. hence probably quitting around the 10th.
Wlad, Vitali, Lewis, Bowe, they would all utterly destroy Frazier in embarrassing mismatches. It's be onesided, and painful to watch.
I duno about that. Byrd really was getting the better of Vitali. It wasn't just some fluke injury. he was making Vitali look really really shitty and Byrd is 5'11. You are of the mindset Frazier will slug it out with Vitali.. because that's all he knows. Frazier is a very underrated boxer and I can see him making Vitali miss and look stupid. Vitali have beaten ZERO Elite opponents. Zero. Keep that in mind.
Both Klitschko's would beat Frazier. Let's be realistic, Frazier was a small heavyweight with a BIG left hook. He had a style that troubled a post-exile Muhammad Ali. Prime Ali would have had a much easier time against Joe. The skilled size of a Lennox Lewis or a Klitschko brother would be too much for little Joe.
Joe Frazier would scare the **** out of both of them. Before the bell. After the bell Joe would go to work - getting inside and beating the hell out of their kidney, liver, vital organs, swelling and bruising their hips, causing them to lock up, ducking and weaving, grinning with evil enjoyment, he'd take a few and smile through it like 'that all you got mutha****er?'. That big left hand would go to town on them. They'd be on the back foot all night long until they got knocked out. Go watch the Thrilla. **** me, the Klitschko brothers would rather fight each other.
He has a bigger arse to land on. I can't see Wlad holding Joe off, and if Joe gets inside Wlad is going to panic like ****, because he's never had that heat or pressure. Wlad would get his head spun and he wouldn't get up like Ali did, because he's not in that class.
