Southpaw only matters when the southpaw has enough power to hurt the other guy. Byrd was genuinely feather fisted so him being southpaw did not matter so much. He was very slippery and so was Frazier. Frazier made Ali miss more than anyone and Ali is a hell of a lot quicker than Vitali.
Southpaw matters when you can take away your opponents jab which Byrd did. Frazier wasn't really slippery he got hit ALOT Ali landed something like 30% of his power punches. If Vitali landed that many it would be a complete beatdown
Vitalis an arm puncher he will be made to miss often and Frazier was good at blocking shots, but I see Vitali taking a decision
Frazier not advanced enough to beat the Klitschko brothers, Prime Wlad would probably win by knockout in the Mid rounds, Vitali by late TKO...
I think Joe Frazier defeats Vitali Klitschko in a very tough fight for both men. I cannot decide between Joe and Wladimir so I will sit the fence on that one.

Frazier’s got one of the worst styles you can possibly have against a SHW. Wlad boxes him up with his jab/clinch much like Ali did in the rematch and eventually sends him across the ring with a right hand. Vitali just brutally runs over him like a truck, a 5’11 205 lbs guy brawling it out with a 6’7 250 lbs dude wouldn’t be a pretty sight.
