Frazier by a toe. (if we're talking the prime Frazier that beat Ali in '71) However even Thrilla in Manila Frazier could probably beat the broken-toe Haye that fought and lost to Wlad. However an injury free Haye could probably use his long reach to give Frazier the same kind of problems that Ali gave Frazier. However, Haye didn't have as good movement as Ali, so even an injury free Haye could have problems with Frazier's style much like Ali did in '71 and many other Frazier opponents had. How can you pick anyone over prime Joe Frazier? The guy knocked down Ali and beat Ali. I don't see how any version of Haye could defeat the MSG 1971 version of Joe Frazier.
I've read this whole thread and still can't figure out if Glover is actually serious. No one could possibly have THAT level of YDKSAB-ness. It defies comprehension. Frazier wouldn't even have to throw punches to beat Haye. His attitude alone would scare the Princess right out of the ring.
Frazier would probably stomp on that toe if he knew it was broken. Imagine a Haye - Prime Joe Frazier buildup. Imagine if Haye took off his shoe and showed everyone his broken toe after Frazier whooped him. Haye couldn't show up with no broken toe to no Joe Frazier fight. Prime Frazier would stomp that ass and bob and weave till the cows come home and land brutal hooks and uppers. He would send Haye back over the Atlantic with the body shots alone.
Wow, in all my years on boxing forums I have never seen a comment like this one. I am honestly speechless. Perhaps this is some type of extended sarcasm to counter the OP who created this thread and admitted he was trolling. Still, even if you are being sarcastic, I don't know how you could physically type those words...
let me get this straight, I'm brainwashed because I don't think David Haye is better then Muhammad Ali or Joe Frazier? What observational facts and real world statistics indicate that David Haye is better then Ali or Frazier? Haye isn't even a natural heavyweight. he's a blown up cruiserweight. you have a strange definition of common sense. the common sense convential wisdom is that Ali is the greatest heavyweight of all time, or at least an ATG. is Haye even an ATG? I actually find Haye entertaining, and he does have good skills. I do think he could actually beat a klitschko or really anyone in the heavyweight division if he is injury free. He is good but I just don't see, sarcastic or not, how you could act as if the convential common sense wisdom is that Haye is better then Ali or Frazier.
Haye outboxes Frazier for the first 6 rounds of the fight, Frazier comes back in round 8 and knocks Haye out!
I don`t say he would defeat Haye, but saying that FOTC is terrible fight is something that shows your bad understanding of boxing. So stfu and go watch curling or ice skating, i am sure you`ll like it
I'm not sure if this directed at me or the OP, since we seem to have lost the ability to quote each other in this forum. In all seriousness, Haye is capable of beating Frazier. Haye is a very talented boxer, probably the most talented heavyweight now. but he's injury prone and a bit of a clown at times. I don't know how you can call Joe Frazier an insigificant opponent. The guy was an absolute beast in his prime before the wars of the mid 1970's slowed him down. Frazier in the late 60s early 70s was an absolute workhorse. The guy had an awkward style and had great punching power. but as he got older, he slowed down a lot and really wasn't nearly as effective as he was in the early 70s. the Frazier that got KO'd by Foreman wouldn't have had a chance. but the Frazier that was motivated for Ali in '71 was no joke, man. That guy who fought Ali that night would give Haye fits. I say it like this, it depends which version of Frazier. IMO, Frazier pre Foreman possibly knocks out Haye or hurts him bad and wins a decision just on workrate. but Frazier post-Foreman gets beat by Haye, even Thrilla in Manila Frazier probably gets beat by any version of Haye excluding the broken toe Haye that fought Wlad. Although the OP of this thread said he was trolling, it's still fun to talk about dream fights like this. i just don't see how you can act like HW's today are so much better then they were in the 70s. sure there's been medical advancements, and boxers have access to nutrition that allows them to stay in better shape for longer, but I still think that Ali or Frazier (before they got old) could hang with today's heavyweights. Heck, most people think that today's HW division is a shell of the 70s and 80s, even the 90s. Speaking of which, how do you think a prime mid 80s Mike Tyson would fare against David Haye?
You all need the watch the Fragomeni or the Mormeck fight. All the signs are there for those who can read them.
Maybe it's YOU who knows nothing. Tell me the list of boxing legends that Haye has fought. You haven't got a clue, mate, and you criticize others on here. Haye would struggle against Quarry, Bonavena, Chuvalo and Ellis, never mind Joe. Where was all his tough talk against Vlad? Haye stayed out of range for 95% of the fight and Vlad rarely engaged either cos he has no chin, either.
Mate, you are a joke. Chisora is **** compared to Frazier. The only thing he has on Joe is weight, and that's cos he's overweight! Haye isn't a bigger man than Joe, he is a pumped up guy who had added weight with supplements and weight training. Do you think he could go 15 hard round like Ali and Frazier? He gassed against Thompson! I can't be arsed to talk to you; go find a site on weight training or something you lemon!
Haye already shown that he can destroy a fighter with fraziers bobbing style in Derek Chisora. Chisora is a modern heavyweigt and would destroy Frazier, so Haye wins by KO.
