What makes you so sure joe would have been finished in the 1st or 2nd round if they fought in there prime when joe absolutely owned roys ass? It would have been the same result had they fought 10/15 yrs ago. I know it and you know it, it hurts, accept it. You cannot seriously name anyone who in the last 15 yrs had a chance against joe can you? Be my guest...:bbb

Calzaghe would have beaten Jones in their primes. Roid Jones ran from Michalczewski for years!

    1. RJJ was not going to KO JC - Why? JC's chin and RJJ's power
    2. JC throws lots of punches and his skill is landing them
    3. RJJ will not throw / land enough punches to beat JC

How does RJJ win? He doesn't, without some help from the judges.

Styles make fights. JC had a style that was difficult to beat - he still has the zero next to his name. Sure he has pitter patter power but even if you slap someone enough times they will go down.

Jones refused to fight Michaelczewski for years. Calzaghe would have beaten Jones in their primes.

    sounds (exactly) like jones.
i think the same result would have happenned anytime , with a slight chance of losing on points to jones. prime calzaghe vs. prime jones is like 50:50 , with neither able to stop the other.

Joes an awesome fighter. Don't understand all the hate with him. He's a very technically flawed fighter but he's so versatile and charismatic. He's very unique and I enjoy watching him.

ps. Joe beat Roy because he outsmarted and outfought him, period. No one can say who would have won if each guy were in their primes, but I think it's a fact that Joe offers stylistic problems for Roy.

I also believe, prime for prime, RJJ would beat Joe...

But, being a stupid wannabe e-thug geek, acting tough behind the screen, doesnt help....:good
