Confirmed according to Danny Cassius on Twitter.

Fair play, what a debut. Credit to Joyce and David Deron Haye.

It's a great debut fight. Shame Haye isn't willing to take many risks with himself.

Haye could take care of Lewison and Joyce on the same night after a two hour crack session with Kalle Sauerland.

Good scrap, but tricky... depending how Lewison turns up could be hard to look good against. But if Joyce can win in fashion good statement of intent.

Huge risk surely? Lewison can bang...doesn't seem the most sensible of matchmaking but I guess he's not exactly young so has to hit the ground running...

Why not fight a few learning fights in quick succession first though?

    excellent first fight!
makes a nice change from the first 10 fights against cab drivers

I really like watching joyce, he's like the terminator, non stop pressure. ok it may not be the most skillful of styles but he's a nightmare for anyone

TV is only five times a year so he is going to have to be fastracked- Price next year if Joyce keeps winning I suspect.

Joyce needs the best of gameplans in this opening fight for him as Lewison can punch and will be dangerous .

Neither are world beaters but I haven't seen a great deal from Joyce that's impressed me tbh, So that's why I was surprised the picked Lewison as a debut

I agree. I think Lewison has more than enough to beat Joyce, if he really wants it.

It will be interesting to see the fight odds on this. If Lewison is anything over 4/1 it would be worth a punt.
