Great fight for Joyce's pro debut. Was really impressed with his showing in the Olympics. Should've brought home that gold medal.

I think it's too brave. I know that Joyce has plenty of amateur and WSB experience but this is a 10 round debut vs a big hitting Heavyweight with skills. Lewison was top 15 with WBO and had never been stopped before he fought Whyte and is simply too good and too dangerous for a debut fight.

I take it you will be having some of that 13/2 also then?

I think Joyce is domestic level and nothing more, Lewison has more than enough left in the tank to beat him.

Agreed. If I was pricing it I would have it around the the 2/5 - 3/5 mark for Joyce and 15/8 - 11/8 Lewison.

Only reason I would make Joyce fav at all is because they wanted and set up the fight.

Money down the drain. Joyce will brutalise him.

Joyce is woefully underrated due to the Kuzmin and Usyk losses. That's not to say he wont be found wanting when he starts mixing at top level in the pro ranks, but Lewison is no Kuzmin and Joyce has come a long way since 2013. Not to mention Usyk would appear to be p4p the best boxer above middleweight and will likely be seen as the bogeyman of the division when he moves up.

He deserved the gold in 2016, but received none of the fanfare Joshua got. It's risky matchmaking on paper, but I think it'll be a showcase of just how good Joyce is, albeit at British title level.

Either way, it's a great fight to kick off Hayermaker Ringstar's partnership.

They need to fast track Joyce, he is already an old man. There is no point beating around the bush. If he can't beat Lew at this stage, what would be the point in pursuing a career? Needs to crack on.

What are everyone’s predictions for this one tonight?

Intriguing fight with a few possible outcomes IMO, but I’ll go with Joyce TKO 7-9.

Very risky debut, though I still fancy Joyce to win. Predict a stoppage win between 6-8 rounds.

    I’ve just chucked a couple of quid on rounds 1-2 (8-1), 3-4 (5-1).

He’s 31, he needs to get people talking about him. As durable as Lewison is, I think Joyce will want to make a big statement and get him out of there quickly.
