Fancy Joyce by decision here. Wilder is shot and can’t pull the trigger and not active enough with his jab since Fury 3. Joyce although on the slide and with zero defence, still throws a lot of punches and that scores points with the judges. I don’t think we see Wilder fight again, as I think his heart isn’t in it anymore. I think Joyce fights on purely for the money at this point.
Wilder is done, but power is the last thing to go Joyce would not be smart to take him on after losing to Chisora. He should fight the winner of Miller/Ruiz
Joyce doesn't move his head. Wilder is a shell but Joyce just lost to the shell of Chisora. Wilder by KO.
Always picked Wilder to beat Joyce even after the Parker fight. While Joyce showed he can still take a punch, Wilder still hits damn hard and Joyce is far too easy to hit. Only way Joyce wins this is if Wilder is completely shot and is unable to pull the trigger on a fighter even as slow as Joyce. Joyce will back him up that's a certainty, so Wilder has to plant his feet at some point to throw the right hand, if he does that he wins but if he just backs up all night he loses. But my money would be on Wilder scoring the KO.
Wilder. Whilst both ridiculously overrated, Joyce is tailor made for Wilder. I'm still unclear whether Wilder's all that declined, or whether he's just been exposed by finally fighting some decent guys... But Joyce isn't that decent, he's far too slow and far too easy to hit.
