Joe is probably in an 18 month - 2 year waiting game now until the unifications / belts get vacated, so he needs to keep busy and keep his profile high.

This would tick all the boxes and sell very well.

Joyce can't afford a keep busy easy ticket over fight at his age which Wallin would be to him. Need an opponent who actually an improvement on Takam (Which Wallin isnt) - Pulev would be a good fight.

 

Wallin is 30 years old and gave Fury a good fight, no other losses.
Pulev is 40 years old and was outclassed by both Wlad and AJ.
