My friend... would you say it's pretty likely Holy would drop louis at some point in the fight.. maybe a few times.. or do you see neither man going down?
this fight would be incredible for as long as it lasted. i favor evander here by ko but i wouldn't lay dollar one on this fight. great matchup.
agree with mcgrain...EVENTUALLY holyfield will brawl. louis has faster hands, holy may have a better chin, louis has a better right, holy has a better left. both put their punches together BRILLIANTLY. louis wins in a firefight but agree with the above: at least 3 of the rounds in this fight could be round of the century
As soon as Holy left the script and started to brawl, Louis would detonate on that chin. Remember Bert Cooper?
Holyfield W12 or W15 or maybe even by late round stoppage. Louis was great but Holyfield would beat him (both men at their very best) IMO. Holyfield is taller with a longer reach and heavier... not much though. Holyfield is stronger but Louis was the better finisher. Holyfield had the better chin. They both have good stamina. Holyfield has the better footwork. Both have quick hands but Holyfield was quicker.
Holy was only quicker to make an excuse. Louis threw cleaner punches, faster and with more power. Holy devolved to a slugger.
I really don't think there's much in it either way in terms of handspeed. It'd be a spectacular fight.
Louis does everything that matters (just about) better: hits harder, punches better in combination, better counter puncher, bigger, faster. The commander has a great beard but its not unbreakable and he's hittable. Great fight; Louis by late knockout in a brawl.
