As if on cue Dino brings up Wlad! Wlad had a bad chin. How does this help your argument? Oh wait, it doesn't...

Purrity was never very good but his record in the last 4 years against Wlad was 16-5 compared to 8-8 when he fought Morrison. Purrity gained a lot more experience in the time between Morrison and Wlad. Put Morrison in Wlad's place in that fight and he would have been knocked stone cold.

Purrity couldn't whoop the ass of Morrison? Lol he did.

Lets start with who stopped them both respectively, and what it took to do it.

Wouldn't that be the most logical frame of reference?

Knockdown was a clear example, Louis throws a left hook/uppercut to the body without setting it with the jab and gets countered and knocked down with a left hook, by a notorious left hooker.

I already showed that Louis was down only 4 times by the time he was 26 (same age as Morrison) and he had fought much tougher competition.

I'm not here to debate being stunned. A knockdown is much worse than being stunned anyway. Fighter's get stunned all the time. Being knocked down 9 more times than Louis isn't negated by Louis being "stunned" by Billy Conn.

    Conn would beat Morrison.

And even he doesn't have a bad chin.
If anyone actually watched Louis fights, they'd know he has a solid chin.
Took Baers best shots and returned punches with his full wits.
Knocked down a few times but got up in a second.

People just look at the numbers, and the weights on boxrec and form conclusions without even making sure that the people theyre comparing them against are held to the same standards. Strange.

That's not hooking with a hooker. Hooking with a hooker is trying to trade hooks and expecting successful results.

You do realize that there was only one champ in Louis' era right?

Morrison fought tougher opponents and why do you include age with knockdowns?
I think Louis was down almost ten times in his career

Had Morrison fought for as long as Louis then he would have had many more knockdowns. Louis had a lot of knockdowns when he was in his 30s after he had had a lay off during the war and when he came out of 2 retirements.

Morrison did not fight tougher opponents. Not even close. Baer, Carnera, Schmeling 2x, Walcott 2x, Charles, Marciano, Buddy Baer 2x, Savold, Galento, Nova, Braddock, and Retzlaff are tougher than Lewis, Mercer, Ruddock, 90s Foreman, Tillis, Thomas, Williams, Purrity, and Bentt.

The difference is that Louis fought 30+ opponents who were currently ranked in the top 10, while if Morrison fought somebody currently ranked int eh top ten, it was a major event in his career (and generally a loss)!

Jimmy Braddock* held the heavyweight championship of the world. Far from club level!

Louis was knocked down by Braddock, Morrison hit harder than him and was faster.

The real question is if Louis gets up.

IF he does, Then it is all Louis, and quick.

Morrison was knocked down by Bentt (out) and Purrity. Louis hits harder than them and was faster.

Well you are IGNORING punch impact and susceptibility to take one and then land one which 90's Foreman mastered and did bc of different PHYSICAL attributes...i wont go into much here...either you want to cheat yourself of actual knowledge or go with the sheep...either way its an opinion however opinions i know through YEARS of actually studying footage of what worked what didnt. im not a fan boy of old/new times...im a fan od combat....

no one on here can actually claim that like me...unlike thwem i have no agenda and redirected points ..ones no one can answer like ....WHy did foreman and his trainers consider him a better fighter in his COMEBACK?

i dont need these ppl to tell me that..i saw foreaman LIVE on T.v vs cooney in 1990 at only age 16 and saw a DANGEROUS guy where my EXPERIANCED father /former fighter saw washed up one...well???? Comic book talk is the talk you guys do on here...which is good otherwise the history section would be balnd...im sure my son somewhat beleives he could be batman as i did.

Again talk all you like your entitled to it..i know better and why and how ppl win fights.
