I think a prime Muhammad Ali could beat Joe Louis more times than not. They would be good, competive fights, though, and I wouldn't argue much with someone who thought Louis was better than Ali.
Absolutely. Get out the time machine and bring it on. I would let Louis do his job with what he knew and I would not confuse the issue by offering him any modern suplements. There would only be one outcome.
Vitali was better than what big fighters that Louis fought? Max Baer? Primo Carnera? I don't think so! Vitali was probably better than Buddy Baer, Tony Galento, and Abe Simon; I would give them to you.
If they get a time-machine they are going to want to sort out Jesus and Kennedy and God and all that ****. Burley-Leonard would have to wait, it's not fair.
Vitali Klit is much better than Max or Bud Baer, Tony Galento, Primo Carnera & Abraham Simon........... Of course Max is the best of the lot, but even Max has poor boxing skills......... Max was the wild Foreman of the 30s...... SR.BILL:bbb
The Klitschkos have gold medals and the elder is a 6 time world kickboxing champion. Vitali's style isn't pretty but it gets the job done. + Its not like All of Joe's opponents were quality ones and everyone rags on the brothers!!!
Louis fought and KO'd at least 20 bums and stiffs outta them 25 title fight defenses from 1937 to 1949........ Joe Walcott was Louis' best challenger....... MR.BILL
This is a ridiculous statment. Joe Louis's title challngers were ranked in the top ten, with verry few exceptions. If I was arguing the case for Vitally Klitschko I would not criticise the quality of Louis's opposition because quite frankly Joe Louis beat more world class fighters in some years than Vitally Klitschko has in his entire career. It is becoming increasingly aparent that you don't have any realistic perspective on who Joe Louis was and what he did.
