Kid, you have to be joking or just stupid. The guys in the NBA/NFL would not last 1 round with Vlad. Being big does'nt mean that you can fight. Otherwise fighters would just take measurements and go home.
Exactly, I think we all remember what happend when that ex football player Jimmy Ellis fought big George Foreman, he got his ass handed to him, Foremen kept looking to the ref to stop it because he was ****ing him up so bad without even punching him as hard as he can. Height and Weight dont really matter when your at Heavyweight, Wlad lost to Brewster who is 6'1, had a ton of trouble beating Sam Peter whos 6'0 and a half, and both are overweight Heavyweights who probably should come in 15 to 20 pounds lighter than what they do. I think Joe Louis is 10 times more skilled than either one of these guys, and would probably give Wlad hell on the inside and would end up knocking him out in the middle rounds.
Louis by stoppage early or Wlad by stoppage in the mid to late rounds. Wlad starts slowly and still blinks under fire, Louis has excellent power, combined with very tight punching technique, solid hand speed, a variety of punches and ability inside. If he pressure Wlad and takes him out of his comfort zone early, he could certainly land something big and lay him out Sanders style. If Wlad finds his rhythm as the fight progresses, barring cuts, his size and power advantage will start to become more pronounced, the long jab will control the distance for the most part and the right hands will eventually stop Joe, though for the record Wlads' left hook is now almost non-existent.
You clueless tool........... Did you ever see what Joe Louis did to Primo Carnera? How about what Sultan Ibragimov did to Lance Whitaker? Size doesn't mean **** if you don't have the skills, natural or learned, to compete with professional HW fighters. Wladimir has one of the best jabs the Heavyweights have seen in a couple of decades. He also has incredible power in both hands. Go back to watching Football or Basketball, since the finer points of Boxing escape you.
Someone get this newb out of here. I guess this genius thinks that the only sport in Europe is boxing, news flash moron they have soccer, rugby, hockey and basketball and in case you didn't realize it European teams have been doing better in international competition lately than the American national team. Drop that Amerocentric BS because, as one American to another, it makes us look like a bunch of foolish children.
Sure, sultan is bum.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91eVtOuMnQs vs Savon another opponents. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=felix+savon&search=Search
No one can KO Toney. Not even Peter who put him down once in 24 rounds. The same Peter who put down Wlad three times in 12 rounds. Great post. Even the Toney that Peter only knocked down once was so fat he could barely move around the ring. Toney is about 3" shorter than Louis, but I guess being a modern heavyweight gives him an advantage.
Good point, Wlad certainly proves the saying "The bigger they are, the harder they fall", is so true. I do believe however Peter hurt Toney more than any other fighter, it really did look like Peter was out on his feet in the first fight, but the ropes kept him up and he was able to recover.
You're just an idiot. More people play soccer, rugby and hockey than play American football. Rugby players are every bit as big as football players, minus linemen, and play in 80 minute games with only one half-time. The creation of the Euroleague has allowed for the fostering of professional talent within Europe, and the results are quite clear as Spain and Serbia have both done better in international competition as of late then the US. While you dis soccer keep in mind it is the single most popular sport on earth, and that the highest paid athletes in the world play soccer. There are four teams in the English Premier League alone with combined salaries of over 200 million dollars each. I am not a huge Klitschko fan, but I am smart enough to realize that a 6'7" 245 pound skilled and fast heavy with his kind of power would KO a 6'1" 195 pound heavy who, despite being fast and packing a punch, was fighting in an era where most heavies would be cruisers by today's standard. Some them, like Marciano, would even be small cruisers.
Well all of those "bums" you named, Wladimir, Sultan and even Whitaker & Carnera are/were good enough to make a living boxing while you you talk **** on the internet douche bag. In fact 3 out of the 4 won Heavyweight championship belts. What the **** have you done?
