I detest most things that the Furys do and, true to form, they've been as dodgy as possible in this farcical affair with Parker and his people. Higgins and the rest of Parker's people have been played as complete fools by the Furys since day 1. But 100% of the fault for Parker's poor positioning in this situation rests with his handlers. Dodgy dealings are just what the Furys do and its on those that deal with them to negate their tactics.

Did David Higgins just suddenly wake up to the Furys' shenanigans 5 minutes before the presser? Have Parker's people never heard of the Furys? Did they lean nothing from the NZ pullout? Do they have any common sense whatsoever? Is Kevin Barry the best trainer that can be secured for a young HW belt holder?

Parker seems to be a really good guy and he deserves a team of competent and capable handlers to enable him to progress as far as he can, as opposed to his current lot of clueless and amateurish dupes.

Though I expect a UD for Hughie, Parker has the tools to win this fight. But, if he does, he'll do so in spite of his inept team and the precarious position that they've put him in.

I really hope Parker wins this. Just to drive the final nail into the coffin of the Furys.
