Hey fellas - let's give peace a chance and drop this discussion. Regardless of race or class here - we all enjoy the fighting arts and enjoy heated battles as well as displays of studied technique.

Rogan is a salesman, he is not gonna stand there and not be enthusiastic about the product he is selling. Whether he believes the things he says or not is irrelevant, he has to build the UFC and its fighters up, or he will be made redundant like me :)

Disagree with the guys on here who diss Rogan. I think he's a fantastic commentator. Also got a lot of respect for the guy as a person - he really works on bettering himself, and he always tells it like it is.

I remember some guy asking his thoughts on Fedor, and his thoughts on Dana's thoughts on Fedor. He basically said Fedor was incredible, and Dana was only saying what he was saying because he's a Businessman.

    Joe Rogan's sound as ****

That sound incorrect. I am a communications lineman who's paycheck is comparable to a plumber/pipefitter and I made $72 000 last year...... that firmly puts me right in the middle class.

That's almost exactly what I made plus I live in an area of very affordable housing but the experts around here have me in a lower class because I watch MMA.

Well I guess I am glad we got that figured out, you and I are lower class.

So do the experts around here have a quick fix for 3rd world hunger? Because thats a bit of a hot button everywhere else. I will be honest I am stumped but us lower class folk aren't that bright.

I don't know why Joe is getting called out - That other guy is just ******ed, at least Joe has some knowledge.

He isn't the most pro, he needs to have someone explain to him that a microphone amplifies the voice so you don't HAVE to yell all the time - But he is excellent at calling the ground stuff.

I think they should rotate a few UFC stars or ex stars who can talk a bit to give a more rounded explanation.

Yeah it was pretty good when they had Rashad commentating with them. It was a little biased I think because he is Jardine's training partner but the thought was there.

His timing is sometimes way off though. I remember the GSP/Penn fight..When Penn went onto the rubber guard, Rogan almost had an orgasm "Here BJ mission control"

He is top of the food chain jj...:good

GSP/Penn 1? I so I think he was so worked up because at the time BJ was a huge prospect. I think now BJ might be winding down his career. Who else is there for BJ to beat at LW?

    what the ****.

joe rogan gold at the US open?

what ****ing year? lol this must be utter bull****, I'm looking it up.

edit: okay, I knew this was bull****. let me explain to non-tkd practitioners that the 'US open' tournament is hosted and sanctioned by the USAT (formerly the USTU) which is the IOC and USOC (international/us olympic comittie) recognized governing body of taekwondo in the US (think usaboxing). This tournament draws international level fighters and even some national team members.

the tournament he went to is a cluster-**** of a bunch of wacky martial arts fighting in some kind of freestyle stuff using outdated rules, techniques, and formatting. It sounds like point-style to me (fight is stopped after every point, an arcaic version of taekwondo that was outdated back in the 70's, hardly full-contact). I can gaurentee that he was never anyone in taekwondo, never national team member, probably never even state-level fighter.

Also, if the tournament was in 1987 (he was born 1967) he was 20 years old.

tl;dr? joe rogan is NOT a taekwondo fighter of any substance.

no kidding he thinks taekwondo is ****, he never did anything close to olympic circut competitions anyway.
