i dont like when rogan says, that all the bobbing and weaving etc wont work in the ufc. i mean boxer knows 2 ways to fight. the dignified ways with the gloves and streetfighting. i personally as a boxer wont fight in the ufc cos of all the rules. the ufc make it sound like a boxer cant fight an mma fighter. but whats the point in fighting a mma fighter in the ufc in a half streetfight, with loads of rules?? it just means the ufc is closer to streetfighting than boxing but thAT doesnt mean a boxer cant streetfight!
Street fights dont have any rules so the comparison by Rogan is not valid. As for boxers bobbing and weaving in the MMA is ******ed.The rules are obviously diffrent. If you put an MMA fighter in a boxing ring against even a journeyman the likelyhood is he will get beat and vice versa. Its not ricket science.Rogan let himself down again with his blinded enthusiasm. You cant say your a fan of boxing and then proclaim grandly that boxing wont have any future stars and that guys like Taylor and co were already stars prior to the UFC making it big in recent years.Thats just simply bull****.
I assume you are that troll that went by the name double suited...who else would have that annoying avatar.:dead
The boxing vs mma argument is a moronic comparison to begin with. Boxing practically WAS the UFC before the introduction of the Marquis of Queensbury rules. If you look back in the history books - prior to 1900 - there are accounts of boxers winning fights with throws and such. There is a lot of MMA hate on this site. I see it in the forums all the time and every other week someone named Coach posts an article on the front page about how MMA is having a negative effect on young people and how it is bad for the future of sports. I've never read so much rubbish in all my life outside of a comic book fanboy debate of who would win a fight between Batman and Spiderman. Fans of both sports need to realize that the competition between the two sports is good for everyone involved. One sport pushes the other to try harder. I love being a fan of both sports right now.
