24-28hr weigh-in times didn't occur until after Eubank-Watson II in 91

 

Thanks for the perspective chaps, handy. Without watching I wondered if the Parlov fight might be a robbery, though he had an impressive amateur record. It just looked odd.

So was he a bit of a case of his record not reflecting his ability due to injuries, lifestyle and promotional issues?

 

I saw him at a Talk In at a hotel in Newcastle about 10 years ago, he was on with a few others, Stracey, Magri if I remember rightly.
Got a photo with him,was a lovely fella.

Calzaghe was the better fighter, but he'd have to prove he's the better lightheavy . I might pick Conteh over 15 rounds

Better Boxer probably yes but as those of us who remember Conteh have said, the man could really fight.
