John's a very very good fighter, the only thing that concerns me is his defence imo he gets hit a little easily and against the top boys theres only one thing that will happen to you.I hope im wrong has john is a smashing lad.:good:goodBN

murrays main asset is determination, he's a good engine and an underated punch, also a good set of wiskers, though he's a euro champ i feel he needs more time to learn to be a little more tricky in his aproach, theres no sense him fighting men who have what he's got but have mastered the art of positioning themseves were its the most dificult to hit them solid.

Murray beats Alex now, and if they fought 3-4 years ago it would be closer, I just think murray at that point would win through sheer volume. With alexs form of late, it's got ko written all over it. Murray and Mitchell need to get it on asap. Murray is a30 plus pro fighter without a real signature win IMO. Needs to step it up, ask fat Mick to put up or ****ing shut up.
Arthur needs to be fighting with no aspirations of going any higher than British. Which is no disgrace, there are winnable fights out there for him, but he has had his time

Mcallister didn't decide to stop using the ring, Murray was cutting it off on him. Really, lee was only having success for 30 seconds at a time after the second round. Go a rewatch the fight - the way Murray adapts and used the jab and overhand right to get inside is very impressive.

Go rewatch the fight ok dad .

I have seen the fight many times Mcallister was giving him a boxing lesson early doors. :good

You need to rewatch it then. Mcallister really wasn't effective after the second. And even then Murray was getting shots in - that's what forced him to stand and trade.

Dft, skel will argue blue Is black with you all day long. I agree Mcallister was with Murray through sheer heart, Murray took over and dominated

Going on memory, McAllister lost that fight, not so much Murray winning it.

Be interesting to have another look tbh, Murray seems too tight, not in the defensive sense or being cute, though i aint watched a lot of him.

Any links or highlight vids on him would be appreciated ESB.

Murray wouldnt bring it like Gomez did either.

i remeber watching the murray the mcallistiar and allthough mcallastiar was winning i always thought murray would get him because you could see how mcallistiar was starting to gas because murray just keep walking him down

That was some good boxing from McAlister .I would like to see a rematch and I think if McAlister stuck to his gameplan he could win it .After watching that fight i'll take nothing away from any fighter .Murray's advantages is his size and strength but I don't think he looks ready for a world title shot .I think a fighter like JMM would outbox him easy and a fighter like Katsidis strength and toughness would be too strong for him .

That John Murray showed up against Arthur today i'd still pick Arthur to outbox him .
