I'm not underrating Rees, I just think Murray smashes him up.

I think John is very limited, Rees could possibly outbox him, it's a bit of a pick em fight IMO. Rees by close UD.

If Rees turns up in the shape he did against A Murray then it's an easy (ish) nights works for John.

Rees will follow the Mitchell blueprint, Murray has been exposed.

By the way...where exactly does John Murray go from here? The bubble has burst really hasn't it. Last week he was being readied for the world stage and now it's Gavin Rees.

He can no longer call himself the best lightweight in the country can he? And it's been shown that he wouldn't cut it at world level anyway. He's going to watch Kevin Mitchell take the oppertunity that we all thought were his. It's Gibbs be a long way back isn't it. A
World level is sadly out of the question for him

If Rees gets in peak condition, I fancy him to do a Mitchell on him. I think Murray needs an easier comeback fight tbh

Bit harsh on Gavin Rees, isnt he the Euro champ and a former LWW world champ of the big 4(paper champ I know)? Probably only second to Murray and Mitchell at this stage in the division.

Don't forget that he won Prizefighter too. Neither Mitchell or Murray have done that.

Gavin gases out, Murray rd 8 - 10 stoppage. Do kind of feel that Murray has gone as far as hes going to, just takes too many punches

Murray stops him in round 4 and as to where Murray goes from here does it matter because i would happily watch him give his all in any fight than watch some of these boring fighters like haye who come out off the ring knowing he could of risked a lot and probably won but was too scared to risk it.

I think Derry Mathews will have something to say about that.
