This fight will be quite close i think, they are both similar styles(quite straight forward, no fancy skills)... i could see Rees outworking Murray.. i think he gets more punches off than John..

Haven't seen Gavin's last fight, TBH Murray's taken two very hard beatings and Rees is a skilled fighter who can dog it and fought bigger men and is stocky. He won't get bullied around and would love the straight forward attacks.

I'd say a late stoppage could well be right depending on how sharp Gavin is early.

I think people are getting carried away with Rees. Beating up on a powder puff punching Frenchman that had seen better days.

Don't forget the times he's blown his load and ended up hanging on a bit.

I don't think he'd beat a Murray from the Rios fight, or a Murray from the Buckland fight. Remember, Murray made Buckland look a level down in a toe to toe war and dominated the fight completely with his size and extra power. Is Rees that much better than Buckland? I'm not sure. I could see a similar result if Murray still has hunger. Bigger puncher, bigger man, Rees would be better off trying to get in and out to be honest.
