FFS, it hapened once! And that's cos he got late and he still only missed it by a bit. It was just a **** up of the timing rather than anything else.
I saw him in a phone box with the Yellow Pages ringing round all the takeaways trying to find a fat guy wanting to order a deep pan pizza..... ****ing hell he needs to give Hennessy the bullet. If McAllister gets a Euro shot before him it will be very embarrassing, bearing in mind Murray thrashed him. Scott Lawton has a Euro title fight at 130 after only one comeback fight against a badly faded Derry Matthews.... after also being thrashed by Murray.
What? Why should he? It's not like he won the title two years ago & has failed to defend it in that period. He's fought all willing challengers for the title since he first won it. He's not obstructing anybody from advancing their own career. The British Super-Feather title should be declared vacant; the BBBofC would have no right to strip Murray. Imo, he should defend it one last time to win it outright, (after he deals with Mezaache), whilst he awaits a world title shot. Some might say it's an unnecessary 4-6 months out of his career, & an extra training camp at a weight he may possibly have some difficulty making, but i'd say it was worth it.
He missed the weight by a quarter of a pound. How did he get humiliated? The commentators were expecting it to affect his performance but he battered Lawton. There were no ill effects from the failed weight making.
It is my understanding that you have to vacate the British title when you win a European one....it certainly used to be the case
not at all Rob,willie would fight john in a heartbeat but its looking more and more unlikely,so let others fight for it, even you cant say limond doesn't deserve a shot at it?
Hopefully getting himself fit for his next fight that will hopefully be against a euro level opponent.
Murray should hope he doesnt face a decent counterpuncher anytime soon.... i just cant see why people rate him so much
