Does anybody else find it hilarious when Ruiz starts his herky jerky dance? He started doing this after getting brutally KO'd by Tua. I'm watching him against Jimmy Thunder a year after the Tua knockout and he's jerkin' and herkin' all over the place lol. :rofl

So this must be pick on John Ruiz week,:huh well then pick on Holyfield, and Rahman, and throw Goloata in there as well, lol Ruiz wasn't pretty to watch but he beat some decent fighters..
There were weaker champs than Ruiz, Leon Spinks, Bruce take a dive Seldon come to mind.

Theres no way in hell that Roy wanted anything to do with Holy!!..That was just words, just Roy trying to make himself look better by sayin it and not doin it!..Holyfield is one of the few HW champs in the past 20 years that would fight ANYBODY!..won or lost if he really wanted Holyfield that bad he would have had him!!..And Evander would have beat the life outa him!

In 50 years, Ruiz will be in many top ten ATG heavy lists.

Being ahead of the curve as I usually am, he already has made mine.

Ruiz would have seemed funny were it not, you know, "this is the reality of the heavyweight division right now :dead"

With the benefit of hindsight, yeah, he was a riot.

Ruiz was absolute ****. And anyone who thinks he actually beat Holyfield, and Golota need to take the blindfold off. His other "top shelf" wins are more indicative of how bad the divisions was than his "talent." Horrible, horrible fighter. The people who are sticking up for him should be forced to watch only his fights for eternity.

Ruiz also beat Oquendo, Mccline, Kirk Johnson, and stopped Tony Tucker, and fought Toney in a no contest..
For a guy everybody hates he beat some good fighters, lol..
Funny thing is he might be in the HOF someday, since the Hall is so cheap and watered down, unlike
baseball where only the best of the best get in.
I'd rather see Ruiz get in then an actor, Stallone, who's never boxed a pro round in his life.
