After 5 extremely ugly, frustrating rounds filled with Ruiz's slop, Dempsey finds him with a left and has him down for a 9 count..he dosen't let the "Quiet Man" off the hook after that..two more knockdowns and Ruiz is done for the night, and Dempsey is thrilled that this damned "grapplefest" is over.
Horrible fight that ends on a technicality (Dempsey breaks Ruiz's nose with an elbow, someone gets headbutted, Ruiz goes down on a lowblow and refuses to continue, etc). Ruiz leaves the ring with a disgusted look on his face and declares Dempsey to be a dirty fighter.
Dempsey couldn't do this to light heavyweight runt Tommy Gibbons in 15 rounds, but we're supposed to believe he disposes of Ruiz in 5?
he dropped some 250 pounds in less time....plenty of smaller guys can survive with bigger guys..styles make fights and all that...
Well being that Ruiz is a ****in piece of ****!..Ill go ahead say Jack has his way with him, drops his big ass about 3 or 4 times before Mr. Ruiz just cant get back up!
